conditions
The
user defines whether the words written on the search line appear within a
limited distance from each other or not. If you click "No distance Limit",
the two words may appear several lines apart. If you wish the two words to
appear within a specified distance of each other, click "Distance
until" and fill in a number. For instance, if you want the program to find
all cases where the words "ארבעים שנה" appear
consecutively, click "Distance until" and fill in the number 1.
Keep
word order - searches
for words according to the order they appear in the search list. If you do not
select this, the system will search for the words in any order, despite
maintaining the distance between them defined by the user.
The search window displays a list of databases on the CD-Rom disk,
and allows you to select the display order and which databases to search:
Categorized – in versions that include several databases, the list of databases appears
on the right. Select the databases you wish to search in.
Alphabetic (in versions including such a tab by the database tab) – enables
choosing a specific book for search, by typing the book's name into one of the
lines; the cursor will jump to the required book name for individual selection.
User may limit the
search to a section of the current database. All the sections in the present
database are listed in this dialog box. To limit the search to one section,
mark the section – or book in the section. To search the entire database, click
"Clear" and "Select All."
Select all – selects all
databases for search.
Clear – clears all
selections.
Close tree – closes detailed
lists of books within categories (in versions containing books grouped by
categories).
Close – closes the window
